Vision for the Psalm 91 Meadow
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:1-2 (NIV)
More missionaries than usual began coming to The Potter's Place for rest and renewal. As they shared their stories the Holy Spirit began highlighting several needs in that unmistakable way that moves us into action.
"It is far more difficult to return to this country called home when the impact on our lives from where we have lived has changed us so much. We feel out of place."
"Our lives are not over, just our call to the field. We need a place and time to reacclimate to this culture and discern where God wants to us next."
"We are most concerned about our children who have been raised in a very different world. Who will come along side to help them navigate this American culture."
"After being suddenly pull from the field unexpectedly, for safety reasons, our hearts and minds were badly shaken. We had no plan B and needed a place and time to heal."
