The Grieving Pool: A Memorial and More
"These children need closure; a place to grieve," Shannon prayed one morning for her late sister’s three, young adult children.
But God had already prepared a private place to be revealed in what is now known as The Grieving Pool. Not only a memorial to her sister, who so desperately struggled with addiction, but this little spring is a place where others come and find victory as they let go of their own, personal struggles and grief. It is a place of worship, forgiveness and release of hurts, where one can visibly watch the living water wash away our burdens. We grieve the loss of a relationship, the death of a loved one, something we have done or not done, wounds we have received or given, and dreams that will never come true.
